Recipe for a volcano chicken in less than 30 minutes
[ad_1]
When I started a natural health trip, I realized that I was enjoying food that stretches a little (or sometimes a lot). Who wants ordinary chicken breast and steamed broccoli when you may have a volcano chicken? This fried chicken recipe features an Asian inspirational glitter and is perfect for busy nights. It pulls together in less than 30 minutes and even my children can make it in the air!
What is the volcano chicken?
Some sources say that the original volcano chicken was a Thai dish that included the whole chicken for covering and its fire light. Although we really don’t do it today, I can only guarantee that this crisp chicken recipe tastes much better!
The modern version of Volcano Chicken is a spicy chicken with a sweet and salty sauce. It is often paired with rice or mix bake to make a meal. It is typically fried hot oil (vegetable oil) and covered with sauce containing ingredients such as brown sugar, sriracha or even buffalo sauce.
In this recipe, I use homemade sweet chili sauce containing ingredients such as rice vinegar, garlic powder, red pepper flakes and honey. It’s like a spicy, sweet hot sauce in an Asian tour! And even if the recipe requires chicken breast, the weakened and skinless chicken thighs would also work.
The beauty of the Volcano chicken
This volcano chicken is a game changer when it comes to a quick, tasting meal. A crisp chicken that is a pair of sweet and spicy sauce is the perfect combination and comes together in less than 30 minutes! In addition, it is versatile because you can serve it as you wish, whether or not it is over rice, salad or potatoes.
Sometimes I also make this recipe forward as I prepare for a meal. You can cook the chicken in advance, warm up and throw it with the sauce when you are ready to eat. The crunchy chicken and the tangy sauce are so delicious that my children definitely asked to add this to a regular dinner cycle.
It’s always nice when delicious recipes are also easy and healthy!

-
Whisk the eggs until they combine with a very low bowl. Mix the flour, onion powder, salt and black pepper in another shallow bowl or plate.
-
Decide on the chicken pieces in the flour mixture, then immerse them in the egg mixture and then re -coat them in the flour mixture. Double coating ensures that the chicken gets crisp, crispy structure cooked. Place each piece aside on the plate and repeat the rest of the chicken.
-
Heat your air cooker to 375 ° F. Place the chicken pieces in the air cooker basket on one floor – don’t overload them! You may need to cook in batches of the chicken if the baking boy is small. Cook for about 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway for smooth cooking. The chicken should be golden brown and crisp when done.
-
When boiled, make the sauce by mixing together a sweet chili sauce, maple syrup (or honey), soy sauce, orange juice, orange peel and ground garlic in a small bowl. Taste and adjust the sweetness or spice level to your liking.
-
Once the chicken is cooked, transfer it to a large bowl and pour the volcanic sauce over crispy chicken pieces. Throw all together to make sure each piece is covered.
