Natural hair growth oil
[ad_1]
I have written a lot of natural hair care articles over the years. Recipes like the nourishing revitalizing and hair treatments based on healthy hair. However, healthy hair starts with the health of the scalp. This hair growth oil helps nourish the scalp and is ideal for anyone dealing with hair loss and rupture.
Originally, I wrote this recipe for men who can notice lightening hair with age. However, many women also look for hair products to combat hair health. On style, tight hairstyles (such as tight braids), heat style tools, thyroid problems, androgenetic alopecia and pregnancy can all contribute to hair loss.
More than half of women undergo hair loss at some point. You may not even have lightened hair, but you want to grow longer hair.
I started to experiment with natural ways to encourage hair regrowth for me after pregnancy. I realized that this hair growth oil would be just as effective for men who want to avoid hair loss. It doesn't matter who you are if you notice that your hair is not as abundant as before the good news, it is that there are natural options.
Encourage healthy hair growth
As with everything else, the foundation of healthy hair is a healthy diet. Nutrients like biotin and collagen help all hair types to stay healthy and strong. Experts recommend focusing on B vitamins, vitamin C (for collagen production), omega-3 fatty acids and D and A vitamins.
And if you are deficient in iron, it can also play a role. Iron is necessary for a healthy blood flow to the hair follicles. I try to get as many nutrients as possible from Whole Foods, but supplements can help fill the gaps. When we get enough nutrition, it can help reduce hair breaking, hindsight hair and forked tips as well.
Hydration and minerals are also very important. If you notice dry hair, frizz or dry scalp, you may need to drink more water. You can read my recipe for a moisturizing mineral drink here.
Oil treatment for hair growth
If your locs need an additional TLC, treatment of the natural scalp can do the trick. There are a variety of natural oils that encourage rapid and easy growth of hair. Some popular options include almond oil, argan oil, coconut oil and jojoba oil. For people with alopecia, vitamin E can help reduce oxidative scalp damage and encourage hair growth.
Although there are many options, in this recipe, I use:
- Castor oil – Used for detoxification in remedies such as castor oil packs. I also used it to thicken / lengthen my hair and eyelashes. Not only does it help hair loss, but it mainly stimulates hair growth. My hair increased by 1.5 inches in a month after using it twice a week!
- Black seed oil – Black seed oil has many advantages but is particularly wonderful for hair growth. It can help remedy certain fungal infections that cause hair loss, and can also help avoid thinning hair in the first place. You can use it internally or topical, just test a small amount on the skin of the inner arm before using it in a large area. Black seed oil can be irritating for some people.
- Rosemary – Well known for its ability to stimulate hair growth, rosemary is often added to hair growth treatments and shampoos. The addition of a small quantity adds a pleasant fragrance and increases the effectiveness of the recipe by reducing inflammation and dandruff.
- Lavender essential oil – also ideal for skin health and hair growth. It helps soften the scent of black cumin seed and rosemary to create a refreshing fragrance.
The tea tree and peppermint oil are also useful, but I did not use them personally in my recipe. You can add a few drops of tea tree if you want to help with dandruff, fatty scalp or any fungal problem. Peppermint helps stimulate scalp and increases blood flow for hair growth.
Olive and Cayenne oil as an option
Cayenne helps stimulate blood circulation and is a folk remedy for hair loss and painful muscles. If you want to incorporate it into hair growth oil, it is easy to do a infusion. Here is what you will need:
- Add the ingredients to the top of a double burner and infuse for about an hour.
- You can also make a solar infusion. Just leave the cayenne and the oil in a glass jar in the sun for a few days.
- Filter the cayenne and reserve the oil to be used in your hair growth oil recipe.
Natural hair growth oil recipe
A combination of oils that encourage hair growth, such as castor oil, black cumin seeds, rosemary and lavender.
Yield: 3 ounces
-
Combine all the ingredients in a dark glass bottle. A brunette drop bottle can be used, but I reuse the bottle of black cumin seeds. It has a special glass of minron that protects ranic oils for years.
-
Damp the hair and massage 10-30 drops (or ½ to 1 teaspoon) in the scalp.
-
Leave an hour or a night and wash. I recommend using the night and sleeping with a towel on the pillow to avoid oil stains.
-
Use once a week or if necessary to increase hair growth.
Test the oils on a small part of the inner arm before using the scalp all over the scalp. Do not use it if it provokes a reaction or sensitivity. Black cumin seed oil will irritate the skin for a small percentage of people with sensitive skin.
