A healthy cranberry sauce recipe

I have always thought that homemade versions of classic recipes taste much better than purchased versions of the store. Cranberry sauce is a perfect example of this. Even though I loved the canned cranberry sauce, we always ate on Thanksgiving on a young age when I tried to make cranberry sauce from scratch year, I was hooked.
Now I have the whole list of healthy Christmas and Thanksgiving recipes. These new recipes have whole food parts, a little prep and much less sugar. You don't even forget the canned stuff!
Best cranberry sauce (naturally sweetened)
Most homemade cranberry sauce recipes require a lot of sugar … enough to classify cranberry sauce as a dessert and not as a side dish!
For those who have not tried them, ordinary cranberries are very oxygen. I wasn't sure how much it would be possible to reduce white sugar and still have an enjoyable sauce. I shouldn't have worry because the unrefined natural sweeteners (honey) and delicious apple sauces fill the openings.
This recipe has even more natural sugars than we usually eat. However, it is a much healthier option than those with sophisticated sugar and is a delicious treat for a Thanksgiving dinner.
How to make an easy cranberry sauce recipe
Only pink the ingredients together and cook until thick. It's really so simple! I add the orange peel to the recipe later, so spicy volatile oils do not break too much. Many sauces require thickeners such as corn starch or flour. However, fresh cranberries contain natural pectin, which breaks down when cooking.
Juice and apple sauces add natural sweetness, so you don't need brown sugar or other unhealthy sweeteners. I like the recipe as such, but you can also add cinnamon or two more for flavor.
The homemade cranberry sauce also makes a perfect sweet dish. Make it a day or two before a big day and keep it in the refrigerator. I'm all easier (but still healthy!) Holiday meals. And if you make a large batch and have remains, they are used in a lot of tasty ways (see the recipe under ideas).

Cranberry sauce recipe
A homemade option for the shop's purchased cranberry sauce with delicious pineapple and orange tips to complete the taste!

Put the cranberries, pineapple or orange juice, apple sauces and water in a medium saucepan and boil at average temperature.

Reduce the average temperature and stir continuously until cranberries start to explode (about 10-15 minutes).

Reduce to a boil and add fresh orange juice and orange peel to the cranberry mixture.

Simmer for another 10-15 minutes and remove from heat.

Allow the sauce to cool to room temperature and store in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight before serving.

- This is not as sweet as purchased in the store! Taste at the end of cooking. It is naturally sweet fruit juice and apple sauce, but you can add more honey or stevia to taste when needed.
- Store all residues in the refrigerator in the refrigerator for up to a week.
