This three -level expandable shelf stores spices so that they are well organized and easy to reach.
The Expand-A-Self of the container store is the best option we have found to keep the spices consolidated and easy to access. The plastic shelf covers 14 to 27 inches, it will therefore be suitable for the width of most cupboards. A drawback: you may not be able to read the labels on spice jars that are placed on both rear levels. Julia Child corrected this spice storage puzzle by labeling the top of each pot with the first letter of the name of the spice, then she organized them in alphabetical order.
Strong magnetic spice shelves

These magnetic shelves create a space on the side of a refrigerator for spices, bottles or pepper mills.
Each magnetic spice rack of the hoop store can contain two rows of standard spice jars (therefore eight pots per rack). These racks are attached to magnetic surfaces, such as the area often not used on the side of a refrigerator. We like that the lip extends around the whole perimeter of each shelf, to keep the dust of a contained pepper mill; Some models, including the Yamazaki domestic version that we tested, have a lip at the front only.
The rear magnets are also strong. If your refrigerator is not magnetic, remember to apply magnetic leaves with an adhesive support. A defect: when the shelves arrived, the metal arms were slightly folded downwards, but folding them in shape was easy.
A large lazy Susan

A platform can maximize the shelf or the counter space, and it facilitates the search for items in places that are difficult to reach.
Almost all the professional organizers with whom we have spoken recommended to use a lazy Susan. Faith Roberson said: “For me, they are better than any rising column or trash can or basket because you can see everything while you turn.” We love the Susan Oxo hub not so lazy, which is available in 11 and 16 inch sizes and has handles at the bottom to prevent it from sliding. The smaller size is better for pantry shelves or corner corners on a counter, while the larger option is ideal for deep cupboards or the refrigerator.
To make sure everything is visible, place larger items, such as bottles of oil and vinegar, in the center of the platinum. Then place the shorter items, such as spice jars, around the perimeter.
We also like the hub of the YouCopia FridgeView refrigerator with carpet, which has higher sides to keep the large articles contained. However, it comes only one size (10⅞ inches) in diameter.
A rolling cart for storage of the pantry

This rolling cart is much more solid and more affordable than many others that we have tested. And it contains a surprising amount of pantry.
If you lack the closet space or if you just need more room to store pantry items, we suggest the Ikea Råskog cart (we also recommend it in our guide for a small room organization). Its 13 x 17 inch sets offer a lot of space to store a surprising number of items. This cart is very robust, and it has large casters that do not block, unlike those of most of the other rolling carts that we have tested.
The lower shelf adapts to bottles or jars up to 11 inches high, and the middle shelf can accommodate slightly shorter bottles. The sides are high enough to prevent the bottles from overthrowing the edge. If you plan to store spices or other small pots on the upper shelf, it is useful to label them on top, because the sides of the cart can hide the labels.
It took about 15 minutes to assemble the Råskog cart, which is in several colors.
A set of product baskets

This basketball set suspended at three levels well done does good use of vertical space, and it contains a bonus of products.
The basket’s fruit organizer suspended at 3 CAXXA levels is an attractive way to store products and create more counter space. It is suspended uniformly and the small clips allow you to adjust the height of the levels. The three spacious baskets contain more products than many lower suspended baskets, and the rounded shape exerts less pressure on delicate fruits and vegetables.
Note: If you have a high kitchen ceiling, you can buy a chain length in your local hardware and lower the basket to the desired height. You can also mount the fruit basket at the bottom of a high shelf, assuming that there is no obstructions below.
Superior choice
These easy -to -assemble baskets contain a surprising amount of products. And they have hooks, to hang a small bag of products or kitchen tools.
If you do not have a space for the suspended baskets, baskets of stackable wall fruit in Mefirt can be a better solution. These baskets of 12 x 7¾ by 8 and a half years are easily breaking and they can be mounted on a wall or stacked on a counter (screws and wall anchors are included). The baskets are also delivered with four plastic hooks, for hanging utensils or a small bag of products.
Thin plastic inserts line the base of the baskets, to help prevent delicate products of bruises on the wires. The fake wooden tops are made of plastic laminate, so they are easy to wipe if they are coated with cooking fat. These baskets are also in white and yellow, although the sizes vary.
Intelligent counter storage options

This metal drawer has a withdrawal shelf and can create an additional space on a counter.
If you already store a small toaster on your counter, plan to obtain the Yamazaki home counter with a withdrawal shelf for additional storage. Small household appliances feed a counter property, but you can place them above this storage unit (which measures 17¼ per 15½ per 5 die inch). This drawer has a space for utensils, and the shelf may contain plates or quarter molds when preparing food (the tray measures 17½ by 10 inches when you are completely extended).
It is also an excellent storage option for coffee and tea supplies, with a coffee maker or an electric kettle placed on the top (depending on the drop in your upper cupboards).

This sliding drawer contains bottles and jars, and there is a shelf on top to store smaller containers.
The bottles of olive oil and vinegar can lean a lot of counter space, and they tend to be coated with cooking driving splashes. Place them in the Yamazaki sliding drawer seasoning support to keep them hidden and saddles, so they are less a horror.
This narrow drawer (which measures 19¾ by 5 by 14½ inches) also has a storage shelf on top, which is useful for small items like spice jars. Since this unit is made of metal, you can even fix the magnetic shelves on the side to add more storage space.
